Hush Baby Monitor Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Hush is a baby monitor made by Jeroen Meijer. This page explains what Hush does with information. The short version: we don't have accounts, we don't run analytics or ads, and we can't see or hear your baby.

What Hush collects

Nothing about you. Hush has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We don't ask for your name, email or location.

On your home Wi-Fi

Audio and video go straight from the Baby Station to the Parent Station over your own network. They are not sent to us or to any server.

Remote access (Hush 5G)

Hush 5G lets a Parent Station connect from outside your home. To do that, Hush uses a small relay service that we run on Cloudflare.

Purchases

Hush 5G, the one-time purchase that lets you connect from anywhere, is made through the App Store, which is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app whether you have bought it.

What stays on your device

Your settings, your baby's name and birth date (if you choose to enter them), the activity log, and your saved pairing are stored on your device only. The pairing code is kept in the iOS Keychain. Deleting Hush removes the settings and activity log.

Permissions

Children

Hush is a tool for parents. It is not directed at children and doesn't collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
